When I first saw this Pretty Posies Background stamp, my first thought was trying to recreate the look of blue willow china. Sometimes a solid stamp can just be a jumping off point to add more detail!

Quick Tips:

• I started by stamping the image in a light shade of blue (good options here could be Salt Water Taffy, Sprinkles or Confetti Cake inks from Taylored Expressions.
• The coloring might look daunting, but it’s really quite simple because you don’t actually need to blend. Just choose three marker shades that work with your base color and add flicks of color. I worked lightest to darkest
• You could also try this same look with another monochromatic color scheme – pink would be stunning!
• The “hello” script is from a previous gift with purchase set but the Hello Script die would be a great alternative.
