Newton’s Nook Designs February Release and Giveaway – Day 3

Welcome back to day 3 of the Newton’s Nook Designs February release! Today’s release is a sweet addition to the farmyard collection of products.

All new products for this release will be available for purchase on Friday February 19th!

Today’s card was made using an image (and coordinating die) from the new Baa stamp set:

I always like to see how I can mix old and new, so for this set I started with the Floral Fringe stamp set as a background. Even though the image is a square, it works will when die cut with a circle die from the Circle Frames Die Set and makes a great little frame for critter images!

I created a little patch of “ground” for my lamb to sit on using the same technique as yesterdays card (start with a circle cut with the Circle Frames Die Set and then cut down with the grass border from the Land Borders Die Set). I also used that spot for my embossed sentiment (also from the Baa set).

And don’t forget, this little lamb now joins an entire family of farm themed products!

  1. I love how you used the BIG flowers to make him look like a tiny baby. This is SO CUTE!!!! I am in love with this design
