Welcome back to another edition of Get Cracking on Christmas! I still have green on my mind (it is my favorite color after all) so that was my focus for this months card:

I started by blending my background with a combination of Pine Needles, Lucky Clover, Cracked Pistachio. There is just a touch of Black Soot at the top and Speckled Egg at the bottom too). Once I was sure the background was dry, I heat embossed the sentiment and a few snowflakes from Season to Sparkle by Honey Bee Stamps.

I then added a stitched hillside (you could easily cut your own if you aren’t concerned about the stitching or just blend out to white on your background and not worry about adding the extra layer at all).

This snowman is from one of my favorite snowman sets, Snow Buddies (also by Honey Bee Stamps). This set is currently retiring so if you don’t already have it in your inventory, now is the time to get it! Whenever I purchase a new set with images to color, I always stamp all of them out at least once. That gives me images ready to be colored whenever I have a few extra minutes. I can then just pull from those images when I’m creating a card and focus on the design instead of taking the time to color too!
