Did you see that Newton’s Nook Designs is having a retiring sale on their website? It’s time to make room for new products so they are retiring select designs! These designs are available at up to 40% off while supplies last so hurry to get your favorites before they’re gone for good!
All week the NND Design Team will be sharing inspiration using some of their favorite products from our retiring list! Check out what I created today and don’t forget to check the NND Blog each day this week for more fun inspiration!

Today’s card is kind of a two-for-one situation since it’s also time to get cracking on Christmas! With summer knocking on our door here in Ohio, I decided to use these sweet flamingos to create a Christmas card with a little more “tropical” feeling!
No dies necessary for this one! I just stamped the flamingos from Festive Flamingos onto a white panel and colored them in (I used R32, R20 and R00 for their perfect pink color). I then die cut a rectangle from the Frames & Flags Die Set and added snowflakes (these are from Holiday Post) and a sentiment.
For a little interest in my background I added cardstock in red and pink hues cut at an angle to my cardbase.
So simple! These wouldn’t even be to difficult to create in multiples!
Don’t forget to visit the Retiring Products Category at Newton’s Nook Designs to see what is going away and grab your favorites before they are gone for good! And be sure to check out more Christmas Card inspiration with Jenn Shurkus!
Thanks for stopping by!
