Use My Stuff – Easter/Spring Challenge

Challenge 6 easter spring graphic square

Some of you may have a little extra crafting time right now – the perfect opportunity to Use Your Stuff!!  So I’m going to continue to post these challenges (and hopefully get back on track with timing).

However, if you are currently finding yourself in a position with very little crafty time because you are an essential worker, adjusting to a new virtual working model or taking care of family members, these challenges will be here for you when you come back!  There is no time limit – even if you are creating Easter cards in the fall, I would love to see them!

A reminder of the basic “rules” of the challenge are:

  • A new challenge theme will be posted twice a month on the 1st and the 15th both here on my blog and on Instagram.
  • Use your stuff and share using the hashtags in this graphic.
  • Tag me so I can see what you’re up to!
  • You are welcome to use the hashtag with projects that you have created for other challenges.

And just because there is a new theme – that doesn’t mean you can’t keep creating using the old ones!  I’ll keep a running list of past themes here too:

Use My Stuff – Beach Challenge

Although it’s been a relatively mild winter, I’m still tired of the cold!

So I’m going to find all of my beachy stamps and dies and think about being somewhere warm and tropical (while I’m crafting in my fuzzy slippers and layers!)

Use My Stuff – Love Challenge

Thanks to everyone that played along with the birthday challenge!!

Now let’s add something new.  What is pink and red with hearts all over it?  Instagram!  Or any other place you look for crafty inspiration.  So let’s put all those ideas and our supplies to use and start making some love themed projects.

Use My Stuff – Birthday Challenge

Challenge 1 birthday graphic square

Over this holiday week, I’ve spent time organizing my craft room and putting away all of my crafty gifts (aka stuff I bought for myself over Black Friday weekend and asked my husband to wrap so I would feel less guilty). And I’m feeling pretty overwhelmed with the amount of “stuff” I have that I haven’t used yet.

I tried approaching the idea of using my supplies in an organized way at the end of the last year and found it really helped me stay focused (one month I only used MFT products and the second month I only made holiday cards). So I’m going to continue with the idea of periodic themes and thought it might help others if I shared them!

So the basic “rules” of the challenge are:

  • I will try to post a new challenge theme twice a month both here on my blog and on Instagram (shooting for the 1st and 16th but as you can see, I’m already late so plan to get used to that).
  • Use your stuff and share using the hashtags in this graphic.
  • Tag me so I can see what you’re up to!
  • You are welcome to use the hashtag with projects that you have created for other challenges.

Simple, right?  Like me, my card making style and my social media graphics.
